Room Transmitter Bug €399.00
This is a very small and high quality Ultra High Frequency (UHF) bug
transmitting at a fixed frequency, giving much greater
privacy compared with a VHF room bug. (This is because a VHF transmitter
can be received on a standard FM radio (88 to 108MHz) and heard by anyone,
whereas this transmitter requires a radio scanner to receive the signal,
which are less common). If you don’t already have a radio scanner, you
can buy one here.
The transmitter signal is crystal controlled, which means
the signal is very stable and will not drift away from the
set value, unlike cheap VHF transmitters.
The transmitter uses a tiny lithium coin cell CR2032, which
lasts for up to 20 hours. The transmitter has a good range
too, up to 800 metres in ideal conditions. Although 200-400
metres is achieved in most practical situations in built-up
environments. |
