This is our first detector to feature an LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) allowing features never available before in our range. The most apparent feature this display provides is 'Target ID'. This complements the discrimination control by displaying an indication of the targets identity on the screen. For detecting on wet sand select 'Beach Mode' to prevent false signals right up to the waters edge. The VK20 also monitors the state of your battery, both by an audio warning on switch-on, and continually as you detect by means of the display. In order to accommodate all these features, we have had to produce the VK20 as a two-box detector. This provides the advantage of making the detector extremely well balanced. Setting the position of the two controls is extremely easy as the display indicates their exact setting whenever you make an adjustment. |
