The Silva Star M298 is a water resistant fully weatherized marine handheld radio. The Swiftech M-298 marine radio operates in the 156.025 to 163.275 MHz frequency range. The M-298 operates on all currenlty allocated marine channels and switchable for use to either USA, International, or Canada channel designations. The M-298 has an emergency channel 16 which can be immediatly selected by pressing the red CH16 key. Channels M1 & M2 marina and race control channels can be accessed by pressing M1/2 buttons.
